UFC fighters Jun Yong "Iron Turtle" Park (32) and Hyun Sung "Piece of Mind" Park (28) will compete together.

The pair will compete at UFC Fight Night: Song vs. Gutierrez on Dec. 10 (ET/PT) at UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Park will face Andre Muniz (33, Brazil) in a main card middleweight (83.9 kg) bout with jiu-jitsu, while Park will make his debut against Shannon Ross (34, Australia) in an undercard flyweight (56.7 kg) bout.

It's almost time to get into the rankings. Park's opponent, Muniz, was ranked 14th at middleweight two months ago, so a win here would prove his top-15 credentials. The left-handed, long jiu-jitsu master is a tricky opponent, but local bookies are giving Park the edge. 토토

"I think he has really good ground game, and he's left-handed and has long limbs, so I think his striking distance is longer than I thought," Park said of his opponent at the media day on July 7.

"I always think of it as a 15-minute fight. I think it will be a ground and pound battle for the entire 15 minutes."

They can also break the record for the longest winning streak in Korea. A win would give him five straight and move him into sole possession of first place, surpassing the four-fight winning streak of "Stungun" Kim Dong-hyun (42). Expanding the scope to East Asia, he would also tie for first place in the men's division with Takeya Mizugaki (39? Japan), who is currently commentating for the Japanese UFC.

Despite the stakes, Park remains calm. "The key to this fight is to stay calm and not rush and bring him into my game plan, not his game plan," he said.

"Muniz has very good ground finishes. I know that if I let my guard down even a little bit, he's got some scary stuff like armbars and triangle chokes, so I'm going to try to stay on my toes and be as careful as possible."

Road to UFC Season 1 winner Park will make his UFC debut against Ross, who has lost three straight fights, on the undercard. Park signed with the UFC in February after defeating Choi Seung-Kook, 26, a protégé of "Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung, in the flyweight finals of Road to UFC Season 1.

Despite the debut, local oddsmakers have Park's odds at more than 80 percent. Expectations are high for Park, who has seven finish wins in eight fights.

"I think it's the same no matter where you fight," Park said of his UFC debut. "Ross was on the verge of being released, but that doesn't mean I'm going to take anyone lightly," he said. The main event will feature Asia's strongest bantamweight (61.2 kg) fighter, "Kung Fu Kid" Song Yadong (26? China). Ranked No. 7 in the bantamweight division, Song Yadong will face No. 14 Chris Gutierrez (32, USA). Song Yadong will be looking to win this bout and demand a shot at former champion Pyotr Yan (30, Russia). Gutierrez will also be looking to beat Song Yadong to move closer to the top five contenders.

"UFC Fight Night: Song vs. Gutierrez" main card, featuring Jun Yong Park, will air live on Sunday, Dec. 10, starting at 12 p.m., and the undercard, featuring Hyun Sung Park, will air live on tvN SPORTS and TVING, starting at 9:30 a.m.
