Tottenham left-back Sergio Reguilon, 27, who is on loan at Manchester United, is being courted by German side Borussia Dortmund. Due to the terms of his contract, it would not be difficult to terminate his loan with United, and Dortmund are in desperate need of a left-back. If Tottenham and Leguillon are determined to make a deal happen, it could be a done deal.

Germany's Sky Sports reported on Sunday that "Dortmund are looking to sign a left-back in the winter transfer window. They currently have five full-back options, with Rami Bensebaini the only left-back, but his performances have not been satisfactory and he will be away at the Africa Cup of Nations next January. "Dortmund are in need of reinforcements in this position and the players currently on their radar are Fran Garcia (Real Madrid) and Leguillon.

However, given their limited budget and the potential of Fran Garcia, it is unlikely that they will be able to negotiate with Real Madrid for his signature. That leaves Leguillon, who is currently out on loan and doesn't figure prominently in the Tottenham lineup.

In particular, Reggilon is currently on loan at United, but his contract with the club includes a clause that allows him to end it at any time. This means that if Dortmund were to make a serious move for Reggilon, there would be nothing stopping them from terminating his loan with United. Sky Sports also reported that "Reggilon has a clause in his contract that allows him to end his loan (with United) at any time. He is currently on loan at United, but has only played one full-time game in the English Premier League (EPL)."

Patrick Berger, who is also a dedicated Dortmund reporter for Sky in Germany, added: "Dortmund have already made enquiries about the player. If Dortmund's move materializes, Leguillon's departure could become a hot topic." 토토

Tottenham would have no reason to reject Dortmund's offer, given that Leguilan is virtually unavailable. In fact, Leguillon made 27 EPL appearances (26 starts) in the 2020-21 season, his most since joining Spurs. Since then, his minutes have gradually dwindled, and last season he spent the entire season on loan at Atletico Madrid (Spain). He made just 11 Primera Liga appearances (2 starts) in Spain, before returning to Tottenham for the start of this season and then being loaned out again to United. This is his second consecutive season on loan. His contract with Tottenham runs until June 2025, so he has a season and a half left. It could be the right time for a move.If Dortmund were to get their hands on the real Reggilon, it would mean the end of his association with his idol Son Heung-min. Reggilon made headlines after his move to Tottenham when he revealed in a special interview published on the club's official website that he was "a big fan of Son Heung-min" when asked if he had an idol in the Premier League as a child. Since then, Son and Reguilon have been spotted getting along on and off the field.

Leguillon is a former Real Madrid youth team talent who made his official debut for the club in the 2018-19 season. He then moved to Sevilla on loan, where he excelled in 31 La Liga appearances and helped Sevilla win the UEFA Europa League. This performance prompted Tottenham to sign him for €30 million in 2020. However, he never fully established himself and struggled to compete for a starting spot, and is now eligible for release.
